Day 22 of 300 - Returning to the project
After a week of travel in Bangkok, I returned with a slightly unusual souvenir: a case of sore shins courtesy of a deep tissue massage.
Running was out of the question the past week - my legs needed movement, not impact. So, I swapped the treadmill for the indoor bike to get a workout without stressing the shins.
I kept the resistance steady and focused on turnover for a full hour. It was a “Manual” session designed to get the blood flowing and the joints moving again.
The Data:
- Time: 1:00:01
- Distance: 21.92 km
- Average Speed: 21.9 km/h
- Average Heart Rate: 100 bpm
- Calories: 405
It felt good to be moving again. The heart rate stayed in a perfect recovery zone (100 bpm), and I banked nearly 22km of distance while letting the legs heal. Onwards to another day.
